Has anyone started any sort of miscarriage/infertility support group in their area?

From the immense pain I have felt through my recent miscarriage and my troublesome months of TTC, I want to help other people who are going through the same things, people who are feeling the pain of miscarriage and are tired of hearing the same ol’ same ol’ platitudes from people who just don’t get it.

I Do not have a support group, But I did try to start one this time last year after my miscarriage. It was the hardest thing at the time I had ever been through. It hurt me more than anyone could imagine. But thats when I had to remember that others went through this, and other made it through this. So I tried to look for the silver lining along with a reason to get out of bed in the morning.Now almost a year later, I am in a place of peace with it. Don’t get me wrong, I still am upset it happened. But looking back , I do see it wasn’t the right time. There was another plan for me, I just had to be patient.

The best advice I can give you to start one is perhaps speaking with your gyno office, thy might already know of some groups in your area. Or maybe they would let you put some start up flyers in their office.

It will happen. I tell my self that ever day and I know it will happen, because i want it so bad I will never give up! You don’t either! You’ll get your dream, and I wish you all the baby dust in the world , and all the peace and strength to carry on!
