I’m having alot of back pain during pregnancy.Does this mean im going in to labor?
Labor means you are having muscle contractions around and over the uterus. Back pain can be from the stress of the weight added to your front pulling your spine out of line and making those muscles sore.
When you are in doubt, always consult a medical authority. It does not usually cost you to ask questions and this is one of the most critical times of your life, carrying an unborn child to term. It is best to stay informed and know all you can, especially since it sounds like this is possibly your first pregnancy. Asking now will leave you better prepared should you wish to have another child.
Do not take pain remedies without consulting a doctor for medicines may affect your unborn baby also. I would definitely urge you to ask about finding a better posture and taking pressure off of your back by improving the way you stand and walk with shoes and possibly inserts. Your posture is indeed affected and many women tend to stress their backs during pregnancy.
Best of health to you and your back as well as your upcoming addition!
