how long does it take?
to actually get pregnant?
and is it possible for implantation bleeding to last over a week? or is it only 2-3 days? because i had some brown spotting for 9 days. is this normal during pregnancy?
also, last night i found myself waking up on my stomach with a sharp pain in it around 5 am. it subsided after a while and then i got up to urinate.
also in your first trimester is it normal for your stomach to be bloated more during the day/night but when you wake up its a bit more flat?
1. Everybody is different in how long it takes to get pregnant. Some people get pregnant their first month trying (or not trying at all!), and others can take a year. It took us 13 months to get pregnant and based on all the tests neither of us had any issues, it just took time.
2. Implantation bleeding generally doesn’t last that long, if you have it at all (most women don’t). However, if you had that many days of just very very light spotting without every having heavy bleeding, you never know.
3. Not sure about your sharp pain, if you’re around 6 dpo – 11 dpo it could be from implantation, but again not all women feel this, and it can vary from sharp pain to a cramping feeling as the egg burrows itself into your uterus lining.
4. I was very bloated at times during my first trimester. When I was only five weeks along I was unbuttoning my pants whenever I was sitting down because they felt so tight and uncomfortable. Then it turned out that I was able to wear my normal pants until I was 21 weeks pregnant (the bloating was just off and on the first few weeks for me). Sometimes I thought I was showing but then it would go away.
Best of luck!
