Can FSH hormone levels be lowered?

I’m 31 years old and I am trying to get pregnant,I have an FSH level of 12.7 and the doctor won’t treat me for infertility with sucha high level. Can I lower my FSH level? If anyone has had a success story I would like to hear about it.

I also have elevated levels of FSH in my system, much higher than yours. I am 30 years old but have tracking my blood levels for years and doesn’t seem to come down. I want to have a baby too. There isn’t anything medically they can do to lower FSH levels. I personally haven’t had any success in falling pregnant. However, I have a twin sister, with the same issues of high FSH levels. She visited a great FS and her tracked her follicle growth every month. He gave her Gonal F (the highest amount) and she produced some follicle. She did an egg pick up and received 3 good quality eggs. One fertilised (IVF) and now she has recently given birth to a healthy baby. There are success stories, especially with your levels they don’t seem so bad. Every month could tell a different story. See a specialist that is willing to treat you with high FSH, because they are out there.
Another thing to note that my sister swears by, is that she visited a Chinese Herbalist. She cooked her own herbs. She really believes that things started to improve with the herbs. I now take herbs and I have seen an improvement in my situation.
